O LITTLE TOWN

A few years ago at our New Day Christmas Eve service, we shared this video that has become one of my favorites. It’s a glimpse into what modern Bethlehem is like. Somehow it helps to make the places and people in the Bible feel a little more relatable. And it helps me think about Jesus being in a completely human context. Hope you enjoy it as well.

 VERSES OF THE DAY

Micah 5:2&4

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah,

out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times…”

He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.

And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.
