SAME BOOK, NEXT CHAPTER.

New Day Church began in 2002 as a church for people who had little to no church background, or who had experiences that made church a painful and difficult prospect. We gathered for nearly 17 years at Meeker Middle School in NE Tacoma, spent 18 months online during the pandemic, then regathered at Dumas Bay Centre in Federal Way.

Now we have entered a new phase that we have called “New Dayaspora.” The word diaspora refers to a group of people that have been scattered from their original home but that retain their sense of identity and connection. Our beloved community has now been sent out into the world in the name of Jesus. Our interactions with each other will now be more small-scale and organic, rather than via weekly worship services. We hope to continue to impact lives, invest in other ministries and embody our mission to live out of being loved by God.

We are maintaining this site—not as a shrine to New Day, but as an ongoing resource. Think of it as a pantry stocked with food for your soul.

Raid it as often as you like.
